Many Roads Lead to Petra yet there is One Way into the City

This is a parable that came to my mind as I pondered our journey to Petra, Jordan in 2011. Cephas and I have traveled many roads around the united states of America since we received this prophetic vision to visit Petra in 2011. It first came to us by promptings from the Holy Spirit about ten years ago. Then four years ago, the Holy Spirit whispered to us to make ready for a prayer pilgrimage to Petra in 2011. We had no idea how this would take place nor did we know exactly when. Here it is late September in 2011 and we are setting out on a prayer vigil across America yet again. This brings the profound statement in my title to a realization. Many roads do lead to Petra and many roads we will travel in preparation for the final journey through the one mile passage that marks the only way into the ancient city. Our walk begins on the morning of September 25, 2011 at 4:20 am. It will be the longest mile we have ever traveled. Walk with us on our pilgrimage for a while.
